About the European Film Festival Lesotho (EUFF)
The European Film Festival Lesotho (EUFF) is a vibrant celebration of cinema as a bridge between cultures. Through screenings across the country, the Festival promotes dialogue, creativity, and mutual understanding between Europe, Lesotho, and Eswatini.
This year’s programme features 18 acclaimed European films alongside works from Lesotho, Eswatini, and Burkina Faso, offering rich perspectives on identity, resilience, heritage, and hope—with special attention to gender balance and youth engagement.
Opening with Ancestral Visions of the Future by Lesotho’s award-winning filmmaker Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese, the Festival underscores collaboration with local universities and cultural institutions to nurture young talent and strengthen cultural ties through the art of film.
