The Consulate of Italy in Cape Town is pleased to present the first edition of the “Italy in Town” festival, which will be held on 23 and 24 November in the streets of the iconic De Waterkant district with the patronage of the City of Cape Town.
Two days of events, music, culture, cooking workshops and wine tastings, with attractions for the whole family. In addition to the numerous stands of artisanal and gastronomic products, visitors will be entertained by musical performances and widespread events: among the scheduled events is the performance of the Italian singer-songwriter Roberta Di Lorenzo, while thanks to the collaboration with Città di Castello the “TazzinArt” project will be presented, which will allow visitors to admire and purchase ceramic creations decorated by Italian artists and young art students from the township of Langa. For the youngest visitors, a children’s play area will be set up, with dedicated activities.
The Festival will last two days: Saturday 23 November from 10.00 to 22.00 and Sunday 24 November from 10.00 to 18.00
