"THE ITALIAN FILM FOCUS IN SOUTHERN AFRICA 2021" returns in December, with another ONLINE festival of Italian films, presented by the association of cinematographers Controluce, in collaboration with the MIC, the Embassy of Italy in Pretoria, Italy. The Italian Cultural Institute in Pretoria, the Italian Consulate General in Johannesburg, the Italian Consulate in Cape Town and the Italian Embassy in Zimbabwe.
This edition of the Italian film festival will take place from 3 to 16 December 2021 on the MYmovies online platform, geolocated for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, and, once again, access will be free.
The program includes 11 quality Italian films presented in the most important international festivals of 2021 and appreciated by the public. All films will be introduced by a short presentation, recorded or live, by the director or an interpreter. The public will be able to interact in the dedicated chat.
