The Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria intends to conduct interviews for the selection of candidates to be included in the roster of qualified teachers for the Italian language courses of the Institute for the year 2025.
Interested applicants may submit their application by completing the attached form. The form must be sent together with a CV, a motivation letter, and a copy of an identity document to:

The deadline for submitting applications is 16 November 2025 at 18:00.
The dates of the interviews will be communicated by e-mail to applicants, with at least one week’s notice.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- be native speakers of Italian or, in any case, possess excellent proficiency in Italian;
- be residents anywhere in South Africa, or in Lesotho, Madagascar, Namibia, or Mauritius;
- hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Italian Studies, Literature, or Foreign Languages and Literatures, or an equivalent qualification), or demonstrate proven experience in the field of teaching;
- hold Permanent Residence or a valid work visa/permit;
- be available to teach both in person and online.
