The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers scholarships to foreign students residing abroad and Italian citizens residing abroad (IRE) for the 2026–2027 academic year, with the aim of promoting cooperation in the cultural, scientific, and technological fields, supporting the international projection of Italy’s economic system, and fostering the dissemination of knowledge of the Italian language and culture (Ref. Law 288/55 and subsequent amendments and additions).
The scholarship covers attendance of courses taking place in Italy only.

Candidates may submit their applications exclusively through the “Study in Italy” Portal.
Online applications must be completed and submitted no later than 14:00 (Italian time) on 26 March 2026.
