The Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria is delighted to participate in the Festival of the Italian Republic Day 2026, organized by the Italian Social Club of Pretoria (CSI Pretoria), scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026.
This year’s theme is BE ITALY: a sensory journey into the soul of the Bel Paese, from the Arena of Verona to the Trevi Fountain, from Mount Etna to the Dolomites, from the shores of Lake Garda to the Renaissance squares of Tuscany. Wonders to experience, not just admire, with a celebration of la dolce vita and everything that makes Italy unique in the world.
The event offers an authentic and engaging experience for the whole family: more than twenty Italian food stands and forty exhibitors of fashion, leather goods, and crafts. There will also be wines, prosecco, Italian beer, and the famous Aperol Spritz garden. The stars of the day, however, are the hundreds of Italian cars and motorcycles on display, with participation from major Italian brand clubs in South Africa: Ferrari Owner’s Club of South Africa (SEFAC), Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo Club, FIAT Club, Abarth Club, Maserati Club, Lancia Club, Ducati Club, Vespa Clubs of Johannesburg and Pretoria, and the Italian Motorcycle Club of SA. The program is completed with live music and a play area dedicated to children.
