This year, with a special drawing by Altan, exclusively made for the Italian Cultural Institute in Pretoria, Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Pretoria in collaboration with Club Italiano Namibia are happy to invite to a day dedicated to children to discover Italy.

Pimpa is a very popular Italian comic strip, created by Francesco Tullio Altan, whose main character is a red-spotted female dog who likes to look for adventures around the world.

 

Children from 3 to 12 years will explore Italy accompanied by Pimpa while doing organised activities.

-From 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM: activities with Pimpa

-12.30 Snack time for parents and children (drinks at the bar).

Who is Pimpa?

Pimpa is a little red dog with a sweet, friendly muzzle and large expressive eyes that convey emotions and feelings. Its species is not specifically defined, instead Pimpa represents a mix of tenderness, cheerfulness and adventure.

Pimpa’s stories tell the little joys and challenges of everyday life, teaching important life lessons in a fun and accessible way for young children.
