The Inside Out Centre for the Arts, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Pretoria, is pleased to present Stillife Brücke, a multidisciplinary artistic event that explores the intersection of tattooing, photography, and performance art.
This unique collaboration between tattoo artists Ruco and Servadio and renowned photographer Roger Ballen challenges conventional notions of artistic practice, transforming the human body into a medium of expression.
The event will feature the live creation of a backpiece tattoo inspired by an installation by Roger Ballen. Through this artistic process, Stillife Brücke aims to highlight the dialogue between permanence, spontaneity, and artistic transformation.
The experience will be enhanced by a live music performance by Johannesburg-based artist Behr, whose experimental compositions use modular synthesis and field recordings to create immersive soundscapes.
