Financing for the travel and accommodation expenses of Italian and foreign researchers, teachers, experts, cultural personalities and cultural operators is available for the calendar year 2024.
Who can request the contribution?
- Foreign and Italian researchers, teachers, experts, personalities and cultural operators resident in South Africa invited to spend a period of stay at Italian university or cultural institutions for study or research reasons;
- Italian and foreign researchers, teachers, experts, personalities and cultural operators resident in Italy for at least two years invited to spend a period of stay at South African university or cultural institutions for study or research reasons.
How much is the contribution?
The contribution consists of an all-inclusive daily flat rate for a maximum of 10 days, of which between 250 and 350 euros per day for stays of up to 5 days plus 50 euros per day from the sixth to the tenth day of stay abroad or in
Italy, for a maximum value of 3,000 euros per beneficiary. For counting purposes, only the days in which cultural and/or research activities are actually carried out are to be included.
Deadlines
The mission must be completed no later than November 15, 2024. The necessary documentation must be sent to the Italian Cultural Institute by 30 October 2024.
